The Fall Lyceum presents a five-week series of conversations that will dig deep into topics of concern and significance for the region.

Justin Cree is a member of the "Wakathahión:ni (Wolf Clan) Kanien’kehaka (Mohawk) of the Haudenosaunee. He was raised in Akwesasne, then went to St. Lawrence University for a B.A. in Sociology, after which he returned home to help his community. In 2022 he became the Director of the Akwesasne Cultural Center which has a common goal of preserving and elevating its culture through its museum, library, gallery, and public programs.

Katharine M. Preston has lived in Whallonsburg for 18 years with her husband, John Bingham. She is a writer, passionate about everything local, justice for Indigenous people, and about the wisdom they can bring to the climate crisis.
