Jon Erickson, author of The Progress Illusion: Reclaiming Our Future from the Fairytale of Economics, will discuss our prevailing but flawed economic system and the emerging reform effort to create a new economy that is grounded in the realities of life on a finite planet – an economy that puts people over profit, community over consumption, and resilience over recklessness.

Jon is the author of The Progress Illusion and is the David Blittersdorf Professor of Sustainability Science & Policy in the Rubenstein School at the University of Vermont.
