Curious about yoga and don’t know where to start? Or are you a seasoned yogi looking for a refresher of the basics?

Join Sarah for a three-part series designed to build a strong foundation in yoga. We’ll explore what yoga is and how to practice it safely, giving you the basics that you’ll need to succeed. In this series we’ll cover the essentials - from foundational postures and safe alignment, to the history and benefits of yoga, along with breathing, relaxation, and meditation techniques. Each class will build on the last with time for questions and expert guidance.

You’ll leave feeling confident in your practice and ready to begin a home practice or step into regular group classes with comfort and ease.

This workshop is perfect for beginners, anyone returning to yoga, or seasoned practitioners wanting to refresh their foundation.

Meet Sarah Gerhardt

Sarah is a seasoned yoga teacher who has taught across the country at studios, retreat centers, and teacher trainings. She’s known for her clear instructions, deep care for her students, and creating a container that leaves one in peace and stillness. A recently returned Adirondack native, Sarah’s teaching is deeply inspired by the natural world.
