Women Peaking: Friends Climbing Through Midlife

The Grange Winter Lyceum presents

Women Peaking: Friends Climbing Through Midlife

Tuesday, March 31
7:00pm
Suggested donation: $5

Spend an evening with Westport neighbors Michelle Maron and Loree Burns as they share the ups and downs of starting two new and somewhat frightening things (mountain climbing and podcasting) at the very moment the world suggests that, as middle-aged women, they should be fading out. Their new podcast explores friendship, midlife, the healing powers of nature and, to the surprise of both hosts, attempting to climb all 46 Adirondack high peaks. The first season can be found on womenPEAKING.com, Spotify or Apple podcasts. We hope you listen and join us too!

Michelle Maron is an elementary education teacher with an art background, though her early work was in art fundraising and marketing. She is a Kripalu certified yoga teacher for almost 20 years focusing on Restorative Yoga, Meditation and Yoga for Menopause. In 2008 she founded and ran Lake Champlain Yoga & Wellness in Essex, NY for over 10 years.
