The Grange Concert Series welcomes our annual collaboration with the Meadowmount School of Music in bringing the outstanding talent of Hiu Sing Fan, the 2026 Gurrena Fellowship winner, to our stage. He was the Second Prize and Audience Choice Award winner at the 2025 Dallas International Violin Competition, a recent prizewinner at the Banff International String Quartet Competition, and ranked among the top six at both the 2025 Premio Paganini International Violin Competition in Italy and the 2024 George Enescu International Violin Competition in Romania.

The Gurrena Fellowship was created in 2022 in memory of David A. Barnebl, an educated, passionate music lover, by his wife, Linda Gurrena Barnebl, of Shelburne. The purpose of the Fellowship is to support and encourage exceptionally talented students to become abundantly successful in their professional journey.
